Five people have been arrested over the last 24 hours by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to 36 complaints.

 

Ashley M. Adams, 31, 10611 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 18, 2015 at 12:13 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Adams at her residence on the warrant. Adams was released on a summons to appear in court on February 2, 2016.

Kendall L. Hines, 34, 1016 Cypremort Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 18, 2015 at 5:00 pm on a warrant for attempted 2nd degree murder, carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon, and aggravated criminal damage to property. Hines was arrested for his involvement in a shooting that occurred in Four Corners. (Please see the releases from 11/18/2015 and 11/16/2015 for more information on this case and arrest.

Dawn Height, 46, 207 Mercury Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 19, 2015 at 1:36 am for domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a report of domestic violence at a residence in Bayou Vista. While speaking with those involved in the disturbance, the deputy observed a male subject with a substantial amount of blood on his arm. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Height bit the male victim multiple times on the arm. Height was transported to the parish jail. During the booking process, Height began causing a disturbance by yelling racial slurs at a jailer and waking other inmates in the facility. No bail is set.

Paige Mabe, 26, 2847 Fourth Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on November 19, 2015 at 1:37 am on 3 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received information from the Berwick Police Department that a subject with active warrants was at Teche Regional Medical Center. A deputy located Mabe and transported her to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $300,000.

Brittany Morgan, 24, 1004 Front Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 19, 2015 at 5:35 am on 3 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received information from the Berwick Police Department that a subject with active warrants was at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. A deputy located Morgan and transported her to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $300,000.
