The following is a list of the people arrested in St. Mary Parish for Friday, December 11, 2015:

Ronald J. Winslow, Jr., 25, 609 Terrebonne Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 10, 2015 at 9:38 am on a warrant for criminal mischief and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. On December 7, 2015, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into a report of a shooting. Deputies responded to Teche Regional Medical Center where a male subject was being treated for a gunshot wound to the knee. The subject, identified as Winslow, claimed he was shot in the knee after encountering 4 unknown subjects in a vehicle on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia. However, based on evidence gathered during the investigation, the detective assigned to the case discovered that Winslow’s gunshot wound was self inflicted. The detective also knew that Winslow is a convicted felon. A warrant was obtained for his arrest for filing the false report and possessing a firearm. Winslow was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on unrelated charges. No bail is set.

Authur Lewis, 47, 225 Eves Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on December 10, 2015 at 9:06 pm for disturbing the peace (appearing in an intoxicated condition). While conducting a security check at a business on Highway 90 in Jeanerette, a deputy was informed by personnel that a male subject who appeared to be intoxicated had refused to leave the location earlier that evening. Store workers told the deputy that the subject did leave and was not on the property at that time. After the deputy left the business, he observed a male subject walking in the middle of the Highway 90 East Frontage Road The deputy made contact with the subject and identified him as Lewis. Lewis was stumbling and nearly fell to the ground. The deputy smelled the strong odor of alcohol on his person. Lewis was unable to provide his address so that the deputy could transport him home. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and was later released on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

Pedro Chapuz Fabre, 36, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 10, 2015 at 9:56 pm for disturbing the peace (appearing in an intoxicated condition), proper equipment required, and violation of the riding on roadways and bicycle paths law. A deputy patrolling Amelia observed a male subject riding a bicycle in the middle of the lane of travel on Highway 182 with no reflective lighting or illumination. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the rider, identified as Fabre. The deputy smelled the odor of alcohol on his breath and person. Following the traffic stop investigation, the deputy transported Fabre to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,000.
