9 people have been arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office over the last 24-hour reporting period. Deputies investigated 45 complaints.

Julia Marshall , 17, 1801 Rose Street, Lot #7 Berwick, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 12:08 pm for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. A deputy responded to a complaint of a residential burglary on Delmar Avenue in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy discovered that Marshall, who knew the residents of the home, entered the building without their permission and stole several hundred dollars that was kept in a dresser drawer. Marshall was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $1,500 bond.

April Aucoin , 35, Patterson, LA was charged with theft on December 14, 2015. A deputy working a complaint of a theft of a boat motor and trailer collected evidence that Aucoin took the items from the victim whom she knew and pawned them. Aucoin was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department jail when this charge was filed. No bail is set.

Carol Bowie , 53, 109 Dinkins Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 11:20 am on 2 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Bowie at her residence on the warrants and transported her to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $200,000.

Christen Brown , 35, 1039 Highway 70, Pierre Part, LA was additionally charged on December 14, 2015 at 3:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of oxycodone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to signal. Brown was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department jail. No bail is set.

Juvenile female , 16, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 6:31 pm for battery of a police officer and resisting and officer. A deputy responded to a complaint of an ungovernable juvenile. While speaking with the juvenile, she punched the deputy in the chest. During the juvenile’s arrest, she attempted to pull away from the deputy. Following the investigation, the juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Mia Blair , 18, 508 Greenwood Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 7:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for a drug court status conference and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Blair was located at her residence on the warrant. Blair was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $100,000.

Brennan N. Skinner , 23, 1061 Grace Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 8:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of attempted unauthorized use of an access card and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, and failure to honor written promise to appear. While patrolling Bayou Vista, a deputy observed Skinner in a business off of Highway 90. The deputy knew Skinner was wanted on warrants. Skinner was taken into custody and transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

J.C. Ford, Jr. , 29, 107 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on December 14, 2015 at 11:39 pm on an Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear on the charge of prohibited acts (Schedule II). A deputy responding to a complaint of a single vehicle crash made contact with Ford who was at the scene. While speaking with Ford, the deputy located the active warrant from Assumption Parish. Ford was transported to the parish jail. Bail is set at $12,000.

Antoinette Davis , 37, Morgan City, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine on December 11, 2015 at 7:17 pm. The warrant stems from a narcotics investigation conducted on Cotton Road in Patterson on November 4, 2015 during which Davis was found to be in possession of two small bags of methamphetamine. After the investigation was complete, a warrant was issued for her arrest. Davis was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department jail.
