3 people have been arrested over the last 24-hour reporting period by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputies say they responded to 45 complaints.

Devin Leon, 28, 115 West Weber Street, St. Martinville, LA was arrested on January 21, 2016 at 9:31 am for the following offenses:
- No driver's license
- No proof of vehicle insurance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Schedule II (hydrocodone)
A deputy stopped to render assistance to a motorist whose vehicle appeared to have overheated on Highway 90 in the Ricohoc area. The deputy made contact with the driver, Leon, and discovered that he was operating the vehicle without a license. Also, Leon was unable to provide proof of insurance on the car. While speaking with Leon, the deputy smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Upon further investigation, the deputy located a burnt marijuana cigar and a hydrocodone pill inside the car. Leon was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Matthew Rollins, 22, Patterson, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for 2 counts of issuing worthless checks. Rollins was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on other charges. No bail is set.

Steve Scully, Sr., 49, 117 Marian Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on January 21, 2016 at 10:18 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule I drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper lane usage. Patterson Police advised the Sheriff's Office of a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lane of Highway 90. A deputy assisted a Patterson Police officer with a traffic stop on the vehicle near the city limit. The deputy made contact with Scully, one of the subjects who was stopped, and located the active warrant for his arrest. Scully was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
