12 people appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report for the last 48-hour holiday reporting period. Deputies say they investigated 70 complaints.

Kelly Fontenot, 35, 561 Wheelis Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 8, 2016 at 11:12 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of improper lane usage, improper turn, and direct contempt. A deputy responding to an unrelated complaint made contact with Fontenot and located the active warrant for her arrest. Fontenot was transported to the parish jail for booking. Fontenot was released on a $318.50 bond.

Kenneth J. Moore, 66, 210 Shivers Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 8, 2016 at 6:04 pm for aggravated assault with a firearm.

Raymond Rice, 56, 210 Shivers Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 8, 2016 at 6:04 pm for aggravated assault with a firearm and disturbing the peace (intoxicated).

Deputies responded to a complaint of a disturbance involving guns at a residence in the Patterson area. Deputies made contact with Moore and Rice and learned that the two men used handguns to threaten each other during an argument. While speaking with Rice, deputies observed that he was intoxicated. Moore was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016. Rice was transported to the parish jail for booking and later released on a $5,000 bond.

Erin Jones, 30, 414 Henry Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 8, 2016 at 7:41 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a report of a possible battery on Henry Street in the Patterson area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy gathered evidence indicating that Jones slapped a teenaged juvenile female in the face during an argument. Jones was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Mark Buteaux, 48, 128 Shady Grove Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 1:50 am for the following crimes:
- Burglary of an inhabited dwelling
- Disturbing the peace (intoxicated)
- Misrepresentation during booking
- Warrant for probation violation

Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person at a residence on Teche Road in Bayou Vista. While en route, deputies learned that a male suspect was being detained by the homeowners. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the homeowners and the suspect who was identified as Buteaux. Deputies observed the strong smell of an alcoholic beverage on Buteaux's breath and person. Deputies collected evidence indicating that Buteaux broke into a utility room of the residence and ate two cans of food. The homeowners stated they heard the noise, discovered the suspect, locked him in the room, and called 911. Following the investigation, Buteaux was transported to the parish jail where he refused to give his identity to correctional officers. Also during booking, an active warrant for Buteaux on the charge of violating the conditions of probation was located. No bail is set.

Tayler Davis, 17, 124 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 3:09 pm for illegal possession of stolen things. Tuesday morning, a deputy responded to a complaint of a burglary at a residence on Mercury Road. The deputy spoke with the homeowner and documented the evidence of the crime. Later that afternoon, while continuing his patrol duties in Bayou Vista, the deputy made contact with Davis. Davis told the deputy he was need of a ride. The deputy offered to transport him. While loading Davis' personal belongings into the unit, the deputy observed that some of the items matched the description of those reported stolen earlier in the day. Continuing the investigation into the burglary complaint, the items were positively identified as those that were taken from the residence. Davis was subsequently transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Frederick J. Mosely, Sr., 42, 120 Bernard Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 3:24 pm for the following offenses:
- Resisting an officer (giving false information)
- Warrant for misrepresentation during booking
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of no insurance, no driver's license on person, and license plate not on display
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle with an unlit license plate
- Warrant from Terrebonne Parish for failure to appear on the charge of child support non-payment
The warrant for misrepresentation during booking was issued after Mosely after he gave booking deputies a false name following a prior arrest in October of 2014. A deputy patrolling Siracusa observed Mosely standing on Joseph Street. The deputy knew that Mosely had active warrants for his arrest. When the deputy made contact with Mosely, he gave the deputy a false name. The deputy transported Mosely to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Miguel Webb, 17, 1041 Grace Street, Siracusaville, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 4:27 pm for possession of Schedule I drug.

Kurwin Webb, 22, 1041 Grace Street, Siracusaville, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 4:27 pm for possession of Schedule I drugs.

Ire Minor, 49, 1013 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 4:27 pm for possession of Schedule I drugs.

Lantrell Ayers, 25, 220 Headland Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 9, 2016 at 4:27 pm for possession of Schedule I drugs.

A deputy observed a vehicle with a severely damaged windshield obstructing the driver's view. As the vehicle turned onto Grizzaffi Street in Morgan City, the deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, M. Webb and 3 passengers, K. Webb, Minor, and Ayers. While speaking with the subjects, the deputy smelled the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The deputy contacted the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office K-9 unit who indicated that there were illegal drugs in the vehicle. During a search of the SUV, deputies located several marijuana cigarettes. M. Webb was also cited for view through windshield obscured and no driver's license on person. M. Webb, Ire Minor, and Lantrell Ayers were released on summonses to appear in court on May 4, 2016. K. Webb was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Juvenile male, 16, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on February 8, 2016 at 10:17 am on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen things. A detective investigating a burglary of a business in Four Corners received information leading to the development of a juvenile suspect. The detective made contact with the juvenile in reference to the investigation and received consent to search the juvenile's residence. In the juvenile's room, the detective located an item reported stolen in the burglary. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
