4 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report for the last 24-hour reporting period, as well as an additional two names of individuals who were arrested over the holiday reporting period. Deputies say they responded to 40 complaints.

Corey Tarver , 38, 1823 Main Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 16, 2016 at 5:23 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks and on a warrant for failure to appear for a drug court status conference. Tarver turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.

Xavier Blackburn , 24, 510 Tiger Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 16, 2016 at 8:49 pm for improper lane usage and no proof of insurance. A deputy patrolling the St. Joseph observed a vehicle swerve into the oncoming lane of travel on Irish Bend Road and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy spoke with the driver, Blackburn, and learned that he had no proof of insurance in the vehicle. Blackburn was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016.

Genevia Dauphine , 30, 317 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 12:52 am for no driver’s license, no insurance, headlights required, and switched license plate. A deputy patrolling the Franklin area observed a vehicle with a missing headlight and conducted a traffic stop on Barrow Street. The deputy spoke with the driver, Dauphine, who had no driver’s license or proof of insurance. Further investigation by the deputy revealed that the license plate displayed on the vehicle was not registered to the truck. Dauphine was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016.

Webster A. Ubaldo , 28, 317 Guilbeau Road, Apt. 202, Lafayette, LA was arrested on February 17, 2016 at 3:28 am for no drivers license on person, driving under suspension, and improper lane usage. A deputy traveling on Highway 90 in the Patterson area observed a vehicle swerving off the roadway and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, Ubaldo, the deputy discovered that he did not have a driver’s license with him and that his license was listed as suspended. Ubaldo was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016.

The following arrests were made over the holiday weekend:

Felicia Young , 44, 1027 Ciro Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 12, 2016 at 12:19 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated). During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for Young’s arrest. Young was transferred to another jurisdiction.

Nicole Cheavis , 27, 104 Eleventh Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 15, 2016 at 4:42 pm for disturbing the peace (language) and on a warrant from the Patterson Police Department for failure to appear on the charges of expired license plate and no proof of insurance. A deputy conducting a vehicle stop for a traffic violation off of Highway 90 in Bayou Vista made contact with several occupants in the SUV, including a passenger identified as Cheavis. While speaking with the deputy, Cheavis began cursing loudly causing a disturbance in the parking lot of the business where the driver stopped. The deputy also located an active warrant from Patterson Police for Cheavis’ arrest. After being transported to the parish jail for booking, Cheavis was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016.
