3 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies investigated 29 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Bridgett Jackson , 24, 124 Welch Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 10, 2016 at 10:14 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana), possession of Schedule II (codeine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Irish Bend Road in Franklin smelled the strong odor of burning marijuana coming from the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the passenger in the car, identified as Jackson. Through further investigation, the deputy located a plastic bag containing marijuana, a digital scale, and a bottle of prescription cough syrup on Jackson’s person. The bottle indicated that the prescription was not for Jackson. She was transported to the parish jail for booking. Jackson was released on a $2,500 bond.

Christopher M. Sinitiere , 32, 4685 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 10, 2016 at 6:54 am on a warrant for failure to pay annual registration fee as a sex offender. Sinitiere was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile in 2001 in St. Mary Parish. A detective of the Sex Offender Compliance Division obtained the warrant for   Sinitiere’s arrest after he failed to pay the annual registration fee as a sex offender. A deputy located Sinitiere at his residence and transported him to the parish jail. No bail is set.

Desirae Eastling , 34, 315 Amesbury Drive, Lafayette, LA was arrested on March 10, 2016 at 12:23 pm on the following warrants:
-    Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and resisting an officer
-    Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated
A correctional officer transported Eastling from the St. Landry Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $3,000.
