3 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office arrest report for the latest 24-hour reporting period. Deputies say they investigated 39 complaints.

Brontriaze Weber, 19, 129 Highway 668, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on March 15, 2016 at 10:02 pm for careless operation of a motor vehicle with a crash, driver must be licensed, and on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy was dispatched to a two vehicle crash on Highway 182 at the corner of Yokley Road in the Franklin area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy made contact with a driver, Weber. The deputy gathered evidence that Weber pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The deputy also located an active warrant for Weber’s arrest. No bail is set.

Juanita M. Landry, 50, 1608 Victor II Boulevard, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 15, 2016 at 8:19 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license, expired license plate light, and expired motor vehicle inspection. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista made contact with the driver of the vehicle identified as Landry. While speaking with Landry, the deputy found an active warrant for her arrest. Landry was transported to the parish jail for booking. Landry was released on a $500 personal surety bond.

Rashaud A. Thomas, 21, 1116 Grace Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on march 15, 2016 at 11:03 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy patrolling Siracusa made contact with Thomas who was walking on Grace Street. While speaking with Thomas, the deputy located an active warrant for his arrest. Thomas was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $360.
