Rachel King , 32, 522 Fifth Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 15, 2016 at 7:25 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of alprazolam, disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated condition, resisting an officer, and remaining where forbidden. While responding to a complaint of a suspicious person, a deputy made contact with King and located the active warrant for her arrest. No bail is set.

Anthony Beard , 39, 1502 Cross Road #2, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on April 15, 2016 at 5:05 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated and offensive language) and simple assault. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with Beard and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage in his breath and person. The deputy also observed other indicators of intoxication. During the subsequent investigation, the deputy found evidence that Beard charged towards a female victim. As the deputy spoke with Beard outside the residence he began yelling and cursing causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. Beard was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,000.

Lance J. Talbot, Jr. , 22, 227 Mechanic Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 17, 2016 at 8:10 am for violation of the maximum speed limit law and reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy driving on Highway 182 in the Franklin area observed a vehicle traveling 85 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Talbot, who admitted that he was speeding. Following the investigation, the deputy released Talbot on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.
