14 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigated 91 complaints over the 72-hour reporting weekend period.

Bennie Charles , 31, 1405 North Third Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 22, 2016 at 11:11 am on a warrant for failure to comply with the conditions of probation. While booking Charles at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement in Centerville, a correctional officer located the active warrant for his arrest. Charles was transferred to another facility for housing.

Peter Grogan, Jr. , 37, 131 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 22, 2016 at 11:30 am on the following warrants:
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of unauthorized use of an access card
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of domestic abuse batter
- 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family
While booking Grogan at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrants for his arrest. Grogan was transferred to another facility for housing.

John Buck, Jr., 29, 266 Ricohoc Drive, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on April 22, 2016 at 6:32 pm for resisting an officer and on a warrant for second degree robbery and simple battery. On March 1, 2016 at 2:51 am a dispatcher received information about a possible battery that occurred at a residence in Centerville. A detective investigating the complaint collected evidence that four male suspects repeatedly struck two male victims during a drug related robbery at the location. One of the victims sustained a broken jaw and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Detectives identified several subjects involved in the crime and have made multiple arrests in this case. (Please refer to the March 2, 2016 and March 24, 2016 arrest reports for more information.) During the investigation, a warrant was obtained for Buck’s arrest. Deputies developed information about Buck’s whereabouts and located him on Clarke Road in Bayou Vista. When Buck saw one of the deputies, he fled on foot towards Saturn Road. The deputy pursued Buck on foot and apprehended him. Buck was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $301,000.

Derrick C. Woods, 29, 2008 Romero Street, Youngsville, LA was arrested on April 22, 2016 at 7:22 pm for driving under suspension, expired vehicle registration, and no proof of insurance. A deputy patrolling the Baldwin area observed a vehicle with an expired temporary license plate and conducted a traffic stop on Highway 182. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Woods, and discovered that he was operating the vehicle with a driver’s license that is listed as suspended. Also, Woods was unable to provide proof of insurance at the time of the traffic stop. Woods was released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.

Andrew Alexander, 59, 129 Charles Lane, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 23, 2016 at 11:03 pm for the following offenses:
- License plate light required
- No license plate
- No driver’s license
- Possession of marijuana
A deputy patrolling Jeanerette observed a vehicle traveling on Big Four Corners Road without a license plate light and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy also observed that the vehicle did not have a license plate. The deputy made contact with the driver, Alexander, and also found that he was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license. Alexander was released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.

Tyler Sanchez, 21, 331 Parish Line Road, Lake Charles, LA was arrested on April 23, 2016 at 2:17 pm for possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of Schedule IV (Xanax), and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responding to a complaint of a reckless driver located the suspect vehicle on Highway 90 in the Bayou Vista area and observed the driver cross onto the shoulder of the roadway several times. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Sanchez. While speaking with Sanchez, the deputy contacted the K-9 team to assist in the traffic stop investigation. K-9 Buddy indicated that an illegal substance was in the vehicle. Sanchez admitted to the deputy that there were Xanax pills in the car. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy located several Xanax pills, a bag of synthetic cannabinoids, an empty pack of cigars, and several small pieces of burnt cigars containing the synthetic drug. Sanchez was issued a citation for improper lane usage and was transported to the parish jail for booking on the drug charges. Sanchez was released on a $5,500 bond.

Casandra Collins, 39, 115 Sycamore Drive, Lafayette, LA was arrested on April 23, 2016 at 1:44 pm for 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of theft of goods and littering. While booking Collins at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrants for her arrest. No bail is set.

Raheem R. Richard, 23, 514 Paula Driver, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on April 23, 2016 at 6:21 pm for failure to obey a traffic control signal and no insurance. A deputy investigating a vehicle crash on US Highway 90 at Southeast Boulevard found that Richard ran a red light and struck a vehicle. No injuries were reported at the time of the crash. The deputy also found that Richard was operating the vehicle without insurance. Richard was released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.

Mavis Pontiff, 42, 20189 Highway 182, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on April 23, 2016 at 11:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft and on 2 warrants from the Franklin Police Department for possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (hydrocodone) and illegal possession of stolen things. A deputy made contact with Pontiff at her residence and located the active warrants for her arrest. Pontiff was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Bobby Nelton, 39, 238 Pontiff Street, Houma, LA was arrested on April 24, 2016 at 4:52 am for driving under suspension. A deputy investigating a complaint of a disturbance that occurred at a business in Amelia located a vehicle suspected of being involved and stopped the car in the area on Highway 90. The deputy made contact with the driver, Nelton, and learned that he was operating the vehicle with a driver’s license that is listed as suspended. Nelton was released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.

Tammy Patrick, 40, 511 South Cemetery Street, St. Martinville, LA was arrested on April 24, 2016 at 5:16 pm for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace (offensive language) and resisting an officer. While booking Patrick at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for her arrest. No bail is set.

Charles St. Julian, 32, 133 Chamber Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on April 25, 2016 at 12:10 am for maximum speed law violation, no driver’s license on person, and no insurance. A deputy patrolling Sorrel observed a vehicle traveling 66 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as St. Julian, and found that he did not have his driver’s license with him and that he was driving the vehicle without insurance. St. Julian was released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.

Kim P. Conner, 39, 108 Jolivette Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on April 25, 2016 at 2:13 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family and contempt of court. A deputy conducting a security walk through of a business on Northwest Boulevard in Franklin observed Conner walk into the building. The deputy knew Conner was wanted on the active warrants, made contact with him, and subsequently transported him to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $29,668.86.

Wesley Stevens, 52, 142 Stevens Lane, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on April 25, 2016 at 3:16 am for theft and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Prairie Road Circle in Centerville. The deputy made contact with Stevens and other subjects at the location. While speaking with Stevens, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Stevens refused to pay his fare after receiving cab service to the residence. Stevens was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,500.
