The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office has compiled their list of the arrests over the last 72 hours in the parish.

The following people were arrested:

Charmar L. Lindsey, 26, 3002 Vega Drive, Houston, TX was arrested on May 8, 2015 at 10:11 am for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a request for assistance from the Franklin Police Department in regards to an investigation into a battery that occurred on Chatsworth Road. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Lindsey pulled a female victim’s hair during an argument while parked in a vehicle on the roadway. The deputy transported Lindsey to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Sherry Whitaker, 41, 108 Marie Louise Street, Houma, LA was arrested on May 8, 2015 at 3:36 pm on a warrant for terrorizing. On Friday May 8, 2015 at 12:18 pm, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a bomb scare at the Amelia Belle Casino in Amelia. Deputies responded launching a criminal investigation while assisting the captain of the vessel in evacuating the boat. Deputies conducted a search of the vessel. No bomb was located. The captain then reopened the casino boat to patrons. During the investigation, detectives learned that Whitaker made a comment about leaving a bomb on the boat that was overheard by the complainant who contacted the sheriff’s office. A deputy transported Whitaker to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Randy Louis, 34, 2708 Glover Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 8, 2015 at 4:29 pm on a warrant for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and simple battery. On April 17, 2015, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a possible battery involving a juvenile. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that Randy Louis, a teacher at the St. Mary Parish Alternative Program school, restrained a 9 year old male student while instructing another student to strike him. A warrant was issued for Louis on charges of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles for directing a student to strike another student and simple battery for restraining the juvenile victim. Louis turned himself in to deputies and was transported to the parish jail. Louis was later released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Patrick McEniry, 46, 148 Jupiter Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 9, 2015 at 1:21 am for disturbing the peace (intoxicated).  A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Jupiter Street. The deputy made contact with McEniry and observed that he was highly intoxicated. During the course of the investigation, McEniry began yelling outside of the residence causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. The deputy transported McEniry to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

William Doucet, 48, 691 Emory Landing Road, Deridder, LA was arrested on May 9, 2015 at 9:42 pm for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. After receiving a complaint of an unauthorized entry, a deputy was dispatched to the residence on Henry Street in the Patterson area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the complainant hired Doucet to do some work on the residence. While the homeowner was away, Doucet entered into the residence without the owner’s permission. The deputy also learned of the active warrant for Doucet’s arrest. The deputy transported Doucet to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Celeste Foster, 31, 314 Capri Court, Houma, LA was arrested on May 9, 2015 at 10:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension. A deputy responding to a separate complaint made contact with Foster and learned of the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Foster to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Matt Malkemus, 27, 119 Francis Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on May 9, 2015 at 11:54 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a bar on Highway 182 in Amelia. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Malkemus and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The deputy then learned from security personnel that Malkemus was attempting to fight other patrons at the bar. The deputy transported Malkemus to the parish jail for booking. Malkemus was later released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.
