The following is a list of the people who were booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail for Monday, October 31, 2016:

Genevia Dauphine, 31, 317 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 28, 2016 at 1:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Dauphine turned herself in to a deputy assigned to the Warrants Section St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office headquarters in Franklin. Dauphine was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Riley Dixon, 26, 227 Glenwood Street, Apt. D, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 28, 2016 at 5:07 pm on a warrant from Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charges of driver must be licensed, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy was dispatched to Centerville to a complaint of a suspicious person knocking on the doors of several houses in the area. The deputy located a subject matching the description of the reported suspicious person on Chandra Lane and identified him as Dixon. While speaking with Dixon, the deputy located the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Dixon to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Deandre Conley, 25, 1203 Weber Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 29, 2016 at 12:47 am for no driver’s license, vehicle license required, and no motor vehicle insurance. A deputy observed a vehicle traveling on Highway 182 in Baldwin without a license plate and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Conley, and learned that he was operating the truck without a driver’s license, license plate, or insurance. Conley was released on a summons to appear in court on January 4, 2017.

Danny Dupuy, 37, 751 Julia Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on October 29, 2016 at 4:45 pm on a Morgan City Police Department warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance on Julia Street in Amelia and made contact with Dupuy. While speaking with him, the deputy located the active warrant for his arrest. Dupuy was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,000.

Carol Howse, 54, 109 Pecan Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 29, 2016 at 7:07 pm for simple battery. A deputy was dispatched to Cypress Lane in Patterson to a complaint of a battery. The deputy spoke with the subjects involved and collected evidence that Howse pulled a female victim’s hair and struck her in the face during an argument. Howse was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $2,500.

Deanza Charles, 28, 303 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 29, 2016 at 7:33 pm for no motor vehicle insurance and no driver’s license on person. A deputy patrolling St. Joseph observed a vehicle with only one working headlight and conducted a traffic stop on Irish Bend Road. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Charles, and learned that he was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license on his person and without insurance. Charles was released on a summons to appear in court on January 4, 2017.

Layne Aucoin, 23, 721 Arlington Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 29, 2016 at 8:36 pm for the following violations:

-     Theft of goods

-     Remaining where forbidden

-     Resisting an officer (refusal to provide identity)

-     Resisting an officer with force or violence

-     Disturbing the peace

A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Aucoin exited the store with items that he did not pay for. Aucoin had previously been told that he was no longer allowed in the store. The deputy also found that Aucoin was yelling profane language as he left the business. The deputy located Aucoin at a nearby residence. Aucoin refused to provide his name during the investigation. While being transported to the parish jail, Aucoin verbally threatened to use violence against a deputy. Aucoin was booked into the parish jail. Bail on the charges is set at $7,500.

Carlos W. Joseph, 26, 1004 Big Four Corners Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on October 30, 2016 at 4:51 am for possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle stopped on Highway 90. The deputy located a car stopped in a lane of travel on the highway and made contact with the driver and a passenger, identified as Joseph. During the investigation, the deputy located an open bottle of beer and found evidence that the alcoholic beverage belonged to Joseph. Joseph was released on a summons to appear in court on January 4, 2017.

Robert R. Conner, 40, 194 Jupiter Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 30, 2016 at 11:14 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a report of a battery at a residence in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy collected evidence that Conner forcefully pulled a female victim from a vehicle by her arm during an argument causing her to fall to the ground. Conner was transported to the parish jail for booking. Conner was released on a $2,500 bond.
