St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Daily Arrest Report

The following is a list of the people who were booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail for Wednesday, November 23, 2016:

Jerell Jones, 25, 628 Red Cypress Road, Patterson LA, was arrested on November 22, 2016 at 7:33pm for driving under suspension, improper lane usage, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and for a warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of distribution of marijuana.

Detectives with the St Mary Parish Narcotics Section observed a vehicle cross over the white fog line onto the shoulder of the roadway on several different occasions. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Jones. Detectives located several bags of marijuana inside of the vehicle. Through further investigation, it was learned that Jones had an active warrant for his arrest for failing to appear for distribution of marijuana. Jones was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. No  bail is set.

Timmi Roff, 57, 223 Crooziz Drive, Houma LA, was arrested on November 22, 2016 at 3:26pm for shoplifting and flight from an officer. A deputy responded to a complaint of theft at a business in the Bayou Vista area. The deputy located Roff as he was attempting to flee by jumping into a drainage ditch. Roff was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $3,000.

Starla Phillips, 38, 106 Muggah Street, Patterson LA, was arrested on November 22, 2016 at 10:46pm for a warrant on the charge of issuing a worthless check. A deputy assigned to patrol the Patterson area located Phillips while responding to an unrelated complaint. The deputy learned of Phillips' warrant and arrested her. Phillips was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $250 bond.
