Kemiah Watson, 17, 807 Cleco Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 16, 2017 at 1:56 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a report of a fight at Patterson High School. The deputy found evidence that Watson approached a juvenile female and struck the victim several times. Watson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Watson was released on a $2,500 bond.

Frank Dugas, 52, 1183 Highway 183, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on February 15, 2017 at 4:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Dugas turned himself in at the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.

Joie Bailey, 19, 1455 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 16, 2017 at 11:22 am on a warrant for disturbing the peace (fighting) and criminal trespassing. The warrant for Bailey was obtained following an investigation into a report of a battery that took place off Zenor Road in Patterson in June. The deputy found evidence that Bailey entered onto property without the owner's permission and took part in a fight involving several other subjects. Bailey turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Morgan City. She was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017. This is the third arrest made in this case. Nathan Francois, 29, 1211 Main Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 17, 2017 at 3:46 am for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and improper lane usage. A deputy observed a vehicle drive onto the shoulder of Highway 182 in Berwick and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver and smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and body. The deputy performed a standardized field sobriety test. Francois conducted the test poorly. He later registered a 0.155g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. Francois was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $2,750.
