The United States Postal Service will hold their annual 'Help Stamp Out Hunger' Food Drive on Saturday, May 10. Letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America will collect non perishable food items for the needy, and YOU can help! This is the biggest one day food drive in the nation, and it's as easy as leaving your food items by your mailbox, or taking them to your local Post Office on Saturday. The items will then be distributed to local community food banks, pantries and shelters. Nearly 1,500 NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers ) branches in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands are involved.

Help if you can, Acadiana!
