State Observes Child Passenger Safety Week

This is Child Passenger Safety Week and Trooper Stephen Hammons says Troop I will help parents and grandparents fit and install car seats properly. Hammons visited ‘Mornings With Ken and Bernie‘ today to invite parents and caregivers to stop by Troop I Headquarters tomorrow or St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge help with installation of seats.
Hammons said,
“There are many types of seats on the market but basically only two ways to install seats properly. You should read the instructions and if you have any questions you’re welcome to come by Troop I headquarters off of I-49 North any Wednesday from 8:00am until Noon for assistance. Troopers will also be available this Saturday at the St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge from 10:00am until 2:00pm”.
