Louisiana State Police are investigating a third fatal, officer-involved shooting this week after a DeRidder man was shot dead yesterday by a Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Deputy.

Troop D spokesperson Sgt. James Anderson says 25-year-old Jacob Navarre reportedly tried to run over an officer pursuing him after he fled from the scene of a domestic dispute. The deputies involved remain unnamed, although one was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The state's police force is also investigating yesterday’s shooting death of Lt. Nolan Anderson, an on-duty St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Deputy, who was shot by a fellow deputy during a domestic dispute in LaPlace.

They have also been called in to investigate the Tuesday shooting death of 14-year-old Cameron Tillman by a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Deputy in Houma.
