Today on 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' Troop I information officer Trooper Stephen Hammons said the search is still on for the driver of a car that struck and killed a festival-goer.  Amy Breaux was struck and killed by a hit and run driver as she was leaving the Duck Festival in Gueydan.

Hammons described the suspect vehicle as,

"A small white passenger car, either foreign or domestic.  But that's the only description we have so we will need the break that will come from somebody remembering something.  We're asking for anyone with knowledge of a small white car with extensive recent front-end damage to call state police at 337-262-5880."

Trooper Hammons also confirmed that all roads in South East Louisiana that were closed by Hurricane Isaac are now open.  For up-to-date highway information Hammons recommended a cellphone call to 5-1-1 or a visit to the website www.lsp.org.
