State Police Warn Of Deadly Highway Crashes

State  Police say they cannot stress enough  the  importance of safe and  cautious  driving  over the Christmas holiday weekend.  Trooper Russell Graham says now through  New  Years  is one of the deadliest and  most  dangerous times on Louisiana roads due  to  increases  in impaired driving and in traffic.
Graham says extra  troopers  and local lawmen will be patrolling the roads through the holidays; looking  out for drunk drivers, speeders and other unsafe motorists.
