State Prisoners Going Back To Prison Drops
A report by Pew Research Center on the States finds that the number of state prisoners who end up back in prison within 3 years has dropped--from 44% to 39% over a 4-year period. Pew spokesman Adam Gelb says prisons are too expensive and improvements must be made. Gelb feels more needs to be done to rehabilitate prisoners, as opposed to punishing them.
