Acadiana Senator Fred Mills Targets Synthetic Drugs Again

One Acadiana lawmaker is targeting synthetic drugs this legislative session.
St. Martinville Senator Fred Mills says his bill would give the Department of Health and Hospitals legal authority to pull these dangerous drugs off the shelves.
Mills says if a new dangerous drug goes on the market, the legislature can’t do anything about it while they are out of session. He says his bill would give DHH the power to do so in their absence.
