Louisiana To Honor Fallen Firefighters

The state's fallen firefighters will be honored next Saturday in Baton Rouge. The 2012 Louisiana Fallen Firefighter Memorial ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. and last till noon. It will be on the grounds of the State Fire Marshal's Office in Baton Rouge.

Families of firefighters who have died in the line of duty will be on hand to recognize seven firefighters who will be added to the Wall of Honor.

The event and a luncheon following the ceremony are free and open to the public.
