PHILADELPHIA (AP) — It's a double whammy for the East Coast, which is still digging out from wet, heavy snow.

A new storm socking the Midwest today is expected to leave the heaviest accumulations in Kansas and Missouri.

Then the storm heads to the Northeast tonight and early Wednesday, and could leave up to a foot of snow in northern Pennsylvania and up to 9 inches in Boston.

The New York area could get up to 7 inches of snow followed by rain, freezing rain and sleet.
