Students And Staff Evacuated From Jeanerette Senior High After Bomb Threat

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office says they were called by administrators of Jeanerette Senior High School shortly after 10:00 a.m. today about someone calling in a bomb threat. All students and faculty have been evacuated from the school.
Sheriff’s deputies says that the school is currently being searched, and they have no idea about who phoned in the bomb threat.
Deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Iberia Parish Fire District are on the scene assessing the situation. More details will be given as they become available.
