Students in San Antonio, Texas at two schools have been asked to carry a microchip embedded ID.  The chip allows the school to track students at all times.

Students who have refused to carry them based on personal objections to the policy have been turned away from common areas like the cafeteria and library.

One group filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the school and was able to get a list of the students names and addresses.

The school says that the move helps to save needed funding that they get when they have students in class.  Opponents say that it is an invasion of privacy.  What do you think?
