Subject Cleared In Lafayette Shooting

20-year-old Danerick Pete is no longer wanted in connection to the shooting that happened in the 1300 block of Moss Street on Saturday, June 24. Investigators say they found information taht conflicted with an eye witness's account that initially identified Pete as a suspect. Authorities continue to investigate after the shooting injured 2 people. A couple of teenagers, ages 17 and 18, suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds after a shooting in the 100 block of Sternberg Drive early Thursday morning.
