State Police in Calcasieu Parish have arrested a Sulphur man for downloading child pornography.

Troopers say they searched the home of 25-year-old Donald Waller, Jr. after launching an investigation last year into porn downloaded to his computer.

Police say Waller admitted to them that he downloaded the material to his laptop.

The arrest was part of an Operation Child Watch investigation, involving the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Louisiana State Police, and Lake Charles Police.

Waller is in the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on a $25,000 bond and could face up to ten years in prison if convicted.
