Summer Employment Forecast Up for Lafayette

There's a slight drop in unemployment in Lafayette. 

Unemployment is at six percent.  That's slightly lower than the unemployment rate for January.  However, unemployment is slightly higher than what it was this time last year because of the drilling moratorium.  Market Economic Observer Mike DeHart says he expects improvement on the job front this summer as more drilling permits are issued.
