It will be time for fun for kids and kids of all ages at the South Regional Library tomorrow as they kick off their annual Summer Reading Program.

The program is open to the whole family which means anyone in your family can win prizes for reading this summer.

There will be several free and educational activities tomorrow ( Friday, May 31):

  • Johnette Downing’s spicy movin’ and groovin’ musical performances
  • The Northside High Drill SQUAD will perform their percussive step routines

There will also be:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Face painting
  • Zoo-Zoom’s unique petting zoo
  • A fun jump

This free event is open to the public and takes place at the South Regional Library, located at 6101 Johnston Street, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Additionally, programs for all ages will be held at many of our branch libraries throughout June and July.
