Sunnyside Lane Shooting Leaves One Dead – One Injured

A Monday afternoon shooting on Sunnyside Lane in Lafayette has left one person dead and another injured. According to Lafayette Police five people were inside the home when two men drove up, walked into the house and started shooting. One person died, another injured and the other three people in the home were unharmed. Police say the suspects may have left the area in a red pickup truck.
