Sunset Man Charged With Aggravated Rape Of Four-Year-Old

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena says Nathaniel A. Monroe was arrested and charged with aggravated rape of a 4-year-old victim.

Captain Vizena said, “The mother of the victim notified authorities that the child could have possibly been a victim of sexual behavior by Nathaniel A. Monroe, a friend of the family. Monroe was taken into custody and did admit to participating in the sexual acts with the victim. “

Monroe is being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail.  There is no bond at this time.
