Suspect Arrested In Connection With Scott Meth Lab

SCOTT, La. (KPEL) -- One person is in custody following the discovery of a meth lab at a home at the corner of St. Mary and St. Louis Streets in Scott.

According to KATC TV-3, Scott Police arrested Joshua Carmichael "who said he was cooking the drugs when he dropped the containers on the floor because of chemical reaction occurring in his hands."

No injuries were reported, police reportedly told the television station.

Three other people, including a child, were found inside the home, KATC reported.
