Lafayette Police have arrested a 28-year-old Lafayette man for two counts of attempted 2nd degree murder in connection with a shooting that happened last month.

Lafayette officials say the shooting happened on March 21st when Ronald James George allegedly used his car to block the victim's car in the 500 block of Benoit Falgout Road.

George allegedly then fired multiple shots into the victim's car and took off.

Neither one of the two people in the vehicle were injured.

Detectives arrested George without incident on April 7 following their investigation.  They say they are still working on the case.
