Suspect Arrested In October Shooting In Lafayette

On October 11, 41-year-old Billy J. Roy Jr. of Lafayette was found shot to death in the 100 block of Hobson Street. Now, just over 2 months later, his accused killer is behind bars.

Lafayette Police say 41-year-old Larry Odell Lewis was arrested on Tuesday in the Houston, Texas area through a collaborative effort with the U.S. Marshal Service and Gulf Coast Fugitive task forces.

Lewis has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
