LSU Police have identified a person of interest in the case of the American Flag that was cut down from Memorial Tower and burned.Spokesperson Sgt Blake Tabor says strings were damaged and an LSU flag was also stolen. Tabor says LSU police made contact with 23 year-old Isaac Eslava during the time of the incident. Tabor says Eslava holds dual citizenship for the United States and Columbia and is a light complected male with long black hair and brown eyes. Tabor says officers were able to collect valuable evidence near the scene of the crime. Tabor says Eslava is believed to have fled to Atlanta, Georgia and he is a student at LSU. Tabor says this case is being taken very seriously.
