NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting on Bourbon Street that left one person dead and nine injured.

20-year-old Trung T. Le was identified today as a suspect in the shooting.

NOPD Chief Ronal Serpas says Le was taken into custody today in Mississippi by members of the NOPD's Violent Offender Warrant Squad and U.S. Marshals.

Serpas says Le will be taken back to New Orleans in the next few days. Serpas also says the two men who were considered as 'persons of interest' are now not considered to be suspects.

Police believe it was Trung T. Le who fired the first shot.

Serpas says they are still trying to get information on the person who exchanged gunfire with Le.
