Suspect Pleads Not Guilty In Parking Lot Shooting
One of the two people charged in the death of a 19-year-old New Iberia man has pleaded not guilty in the case.
20-year-old Nicholas Felix entered his not guilty plea in court yesterday in the death of Frederick Joseph.
Felix has been charged with principal to second-degree murder and principal to attempted second-degree murder.
In addition to Felix facing charges in Joseph's death, he is also accused of wounding a second person.
According to a June 5 indictment, Felix "intentionally participated" in the shooting.
Another suspect in the case, 20-year-old Travonte J. Broussard, has been indicted on one count of second-degree murder.
Broussard's arraignment was postponed.
