Saturday afternoon police were called to the 300 block of Ena Street after they were made aware of an armed robbery.

The victim told police she was walking home when a car with four people in it drove right up beside her on Ena Street.

She says man came out of the car brandishing a handgun, and he demanded that she give him her purse.

The man who accosted her then ran away, while the three other suspects in the car fled down Ena Street. The woman was not hurt during the attack.

Police investigated, and they have arrested four people:

21-year-old Michael P. Granger (Lafayette), Principle to Armed Robbery and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

17-year-old Corey Trahan (Lafayette), Principle to Armed Robbery and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.

A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrest for Principle to Armed Robbery.

Both juveniles were booked into the Lafayette Parish Juvenile Detention Home.

Police say they are still investigating the case.
