Two Texas residents are dead after a crash on I-10.

Jeremy Marquis Williams, of Port Arthur, lost control of his SUV after a back tire blew out. The SUV then rolled and three passengers were ejected from the car.

Two of the passengers, Gwendolyn Jernigan and Toya Willaims, both of Port Arthur, died from their injuries.

An 11-month old child was ejected from the vehicle, but was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Jeremy Williams, who was wearing a seat-belt, sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Police want to remind you to buckle up when driving, not only because it's safe, but because it is Louisiana state law.
