Dr. John Sutherlin joined "Mornings With Ken and Bernie" to talk about the election results from Saturday evening. He says the few run-off elections to be held November 19th might have some fireworks and mudslinging.
It has been a very serious race, and the two candidates have been battling via commercials and interviews for the seat. Incumbent Jack Montouchet is facing Anthony Emmons in the race for State Representative in District 42.
Andy Naquin is hoping to be the person win the Lafayette City Parish Council seat currently being represented by Sam Dore. Naquin is facing the incumbent Dore and fellow challenger Jared Doise to win the seat.
Sam Dore is in his first term as a Lafayette City Parish Councilman. Dore says he believes he has the experience needed to serve the constituents of District Six again.
