The U.S. Attorney's Office says the case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a program aimed at stopping child abuse and the sexual exploitation of children.
Homeland Security Investigations, the DeRidder Police Department, Louisiana State Police and the Louisiana Department of Social Services conducted the investigation.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Louisiana says 33-yeaer-old Randy A. Powell, who was arrested in October, pleaded guilty Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Karen L. Hayes to receiving child pornography.
According to State Police Trpr. Stephen Hammons, investigators were tipped Monday morning that 32-year-old Austin Gulledge was in possession of child porn.
