Lafayette Police are currently investigating an early morning shooting at Moore Park that left two dead and multiple people injured.

The female victim is reported to be in critical condition at a local hospital.

The shooting was reported on Hopkins Street at about 9 pm last night.

A mother and her six-year-old son died as a result of the crash.
