Nick Gautreaux, Commissioner of the State Office of Motor Vehicles, says rumors that his department has stopped sending renewal notices to Louisiana motorists are NOT true.

This morning on Acadiana Live, State Senator Mike Michot responded to the ongoing discussion about the grade a local report gave him after the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce issued their information.

Nick Gautreaux, the former State Senator from District 26, has moved on to head up the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles, leaving his seat open.  The special primary election will be held of February 19th.  Candidate Nathan Granger spoke on The Morning  Report about why he wants the job.
