Willie Robertson, star of Duck Dynasty, tells USAToday.com he and his family were targeted in a drive-by shooting last Friday at their on home in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Eight to ten rounds were reportedly fired into the Robertson estate in West Monroe on Friday afternoon.

A homeless man who was convicted in the death of 86-year-old Irene Schoofs will not get a new trial. State District Judge Glennon Everett rejected 46-year-old Willie Robertson's request for the new trial. Robertson requested the trial on several grounds, including ineffective assistance of counsel and not having access to a fingerprint expert among other issues...

The jury deliberated for two and a half hours before they returned with the guilty verdict.
