Tased Suspect Dies

A man who was tased while in custody of the Louisiana State Police has died. State Police Spokesperson Trooper Melissa Matey says during the arrest the subject, identified as Kirkland Woolridge, attempted to flee on foot. She says while he was being tased Woolridge was resisting and removed a gun from his waistband. Matey says the man was arrested and EMS was called to the scene to check
him.
