Tea Party Express Endorses Rob Maness For Senate

Tea Party Express, a national organization for Tea Party conservatives, has endorsed former United States Air Force Col. Rob Maness in his U.S. Senate bid.

Taylor Budowic from Tea Party Express said Maness "stood head and shoulder above the rest." Maness, a Republican, is running against Republican U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy and Democratic U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu during this fall's elections.

Budowic said Maness provides an "outsider's mentality" to Washington, D.C., to help combat the culture of postponing national problems instead of addressing them immediately.

Maness exhibited courage, Budowic said, by knowing when to fight and leadership, something he said is lacking in the nation's capitol.

Maness also received an endorsement a month ago from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Paling has become a poster woman for conservatives across the country, many of whom urged her to run for President. Palin has not completely dismissed such a possibility.
