Fox News reports about an incident covered by KTVB about a kindergarten teacher who took a misbehaving boy and put him in a locked room, but she forgot about him.  James Cagle, the father of the little five-year-old says when he and another school administrator found the boy, he was crying.  The little boy had also wet his pants.

James Cagle told KTVB, "I know that if I locked my child in a room long enough for him to urinate on himself, I'd be going to jail or child protective services would dang sure be here taking him out of my house that night".  He says he and his wife became worried when the little boy did not come home from his morning kindergarten class.

Can you believe a teacher did that?  The administrators say the teacher is very remorseful, and they say she never should have chosen to do that.  She is still teaching at the school, but all other details are being kept quiet so as not to give out personal details about the boy or teacher.  It's required by law.

I agree with James Cagle.  If a parent had done something like that, their child would have been taken away from them right away.  This teacher does it, and yes, she is very sorry, but she isn't going to get canned.  I don't know if she should be fired, but what woman puts a boy in a room and forgets him.  It's just sad.  He was so scared, he urinated on himself!  If this was my child, I would be livid!  What do you think?  I am sure you're mad about it to.

I wonder what will happen now in Caldwell, Idaho now? I sure hope it will mean that people will think twice about how they discipline children.  I know it can be unbearable to be a teacher.  Some parents do nothing with their children, and they think that teachers can fix all the ills of a family. It's just not so.  But, I also think this poor teacher will realize that she can't do that to a little person.  They are so vulnerable.  They depend on us, and we must be responsible.
