Tech Companies Seeking Workers In Lafayette
LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — A recruitment and networking fair for job hunters interested in working with three information technology companies moving to Lafayette will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Abdalla Hall.
The Advocate reports the companies — CGI, Enquero and Perficient — plan to fill about 1,000 positions, including software programmers, business analysts and consultants, marketers, graphic designers and communications specialists.
The event is sponsored by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority.
