Tech Happening Set For Aug. 9

RUSTON, La. (AP) — Louisiana Tech's annual pre-semester and pre-football season gathering of students and alumni is set for Aug. 9 at the Monroe Civic Center.

The Daily Leader reports (http://bit.ly/NkT4aO) Happening XXXI kicks off with a 6 p.m. reception followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

The event is hosted by the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association.

Director of Athletics Bruce Van De Velde and Head Football Coach Sonny Dykes will be on hand to talk about the upcoming sports seasons.
