With the approach of Tropical Storm Isaac many retailers are selling generators faster than they can restock them. Teddy Eastin of GenStar joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today to discuss generator safety this morning.

Eastin said,

"Many people get complacent with generators over time especially when you've used them in the past and don't necessarily follow common sense when you're running around in the wind and rain."

According to Eastin the most important thing to remember is to use the generator in a well ventilated area with the exhaust directed away from windows and doors to prevent carbon monoxide fumes from entering your home.
